Our inner world is the only temple where God dwells. Religion is an awakening of human interiority. I am against making a public show of religion. Promiscuity unleashes the animal among the crops. Polygamy can, up to a point, accommodate love and responsibility. Also, there is something worse than polygamy: adulterous promiscuity. It is widespread in other communities too. By the way, polygamy is not exclusive to Muslims. The connection between triple talaq and polygamy too needs to be addressed. Even if God were to come and say to the contrary, we should excuse ourselves from it. This is something that cannot be justified as the will of God. It doesn’t matter which religion it is associated with. Because it is an injustice to women perpetrated in the name of religion. But that should apply to all, don’t you think, across the board. Religion should not generate noise and public nuisance.
